Two Graduate Unity Games Developers – Full Time

CCS is seeking two graduate game developers to work alongside MMU Faculty of Education and School of Computing staff and be part of the team responsible for creating a brand new product range under the Emile Education brand (www.Emile-education.co.uk).

Emile education has been devised by Manchester Metropolitan University’s Faculty of Education. It teaches mathematics at the same time as languages and is aimed at 6-10 year olds. Such is the excitement about this project, it has been part funded by Innovate UK, Creative England and the Regional Growth Fund.

We are seeking to expand the development team by the addition of two junior Unity developers. In particular, the successful candidate will be required to develop basic HTML5 games using Unity 3d while working with our inhouse graphic design team.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate would:

  • have experience in creating interactive software games using Unity;
  • be well versed in C#;
  • be able to work accurately & efficiently alone, as part of a team; and
  • enjoy contributing creatively to projects.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a fast developing company and contribute creatively to a product that will be used in thousands of schools by tens of thousands of primary school children.

Pay:

Full time – £22,000pa

Graphic Illustrator and 2d Animator

This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute creatively to a project that will be seen by hundreds of thousands of children around the world.

We are now seeking another graphic illustrator and 2d animator to join our team (as well as junior Unity games developer).
The Company:
Cyber Coach supplies an award winning online dance and exercise product into 10% of the primary schools in the UK and Ireland. www.Cyber-smart.co.uk

The Role:
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a young & fast-developing company and to help take charge of the aesthetics of a product that will be used in thousands of schools by tens of thousands of primary school children.

There is a significant amount of graphic design work required primarily for the project, but also for supporting documentation.

The successful applicant will work alongside a superb 2d artist and dedicated and skilled games developers to deliver a consistent and appealing look to the new product as well as to produce supporting literature.

A development team of 7 are already in place on this project.

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate would:

  • have a portfolio of artworking and layout skills;
  • be experienced with illustrator;
  • be experienced with animation software;
  • be able to work accurately & efficiently alone and as part of a team;
  • enjoy contributing creatively to projects; and
  • preferably have some experience of wordpress or other web creation tool.

Pay:

Full time – £18,000pa
